Why work from home?? In the past year I have often been asked the same question over and over again. Even though I actually enjoy all the benefits of working at home and have more free time than most people, I still feel, it might be useful to give you my Top 5 reasons. This way when somebody asks me this same question again, I can just send this article and go straight back to being lazy.
1. Never again will somebody else tell you what to do. This truly is the biggest benefit of all. I am a person who has a hard time taking orders from anybody, I used to work as a Regional Manager setting up car- and motor bike workshops all over the world and although this was a job where I was on my own most of the time, there still was a board of directors telling me what to do. You will not know how good this feels till you experience it!!
2. You can start the day whenever You feel like it. Can you remember the last time you had a late night with friends? Perhaps had a bit to much to drink.. Then you can probably also remember how you felt when you had to get up early the next morning to go to work. Wasn't it awful? You could be doing what I do, sometimes I start at eight in the morning, sometimes I only work in the evening since I decided to spend the day with my two year old son. It is totally up to me.
3. Money keeps coming in, even if you don't work. This is also one which creates an amazing feeling, just try to imagine, you have been out and about enjoying a beautiful Sunday afternoon with friends or family and your money machine keeps working. You come back home and check your sales statistics and guess what.. You have made more money then you would have been able to spend that same day. Believe me, I am still checking my statistics every Sunday!!
4. There are no limits to what you can earn on line. Once you have discovered how to make something profitable on line, either through work at home offers or selling something through your own web site, you can do it over and over again. That is the beauty of the internet, you can make your work at home business almost fully automatic which means you can keep repeating. Like I said, No Limits.
5. You have the unique opportunity to help others. In the normal business making a good income often means thinking of yourself instead of helping other people. In the on line community the best way to making a good income is by helping others. The more ways you find to educate and stimulate people on how to become successful on line and help them along the way, the more you will be rewarded. That's the way I like to do business and it puts a smile on my face while thinking about it.

I sincerely hope that these reasons will stimulate you to keep on searching for that one opportunity you need to become successful on line. Most people will not make a dime online and yet there are others who will make more in one month than most people make in a whole year. Why is that?
My answer begins with the age-old chicken or egg question, "what comes first the chicken or the egg"? Personally I vote for, well never mind, each argument you or I make comes back to the same old conclusion - I have no clue and I don't think many of us do either.
But one thing I do have a clue about and know for sure is that to make money online you must first have Passion for the company products and/or service of any Internet business from which you expect to make money.
Passion in this sense simply means that you've researched and like the company and products or services. It is then that you translate that like (or Passion) into the education, excitement and work that usually accompany Passion.
I will have to say that many online entrepreneurs are so good at what they do that they ignore passion because they can sell anything. But I'm concerned about those of you who are not so knowledgeable at working an online business successfully.
Now, I'm not trying to make anyone believe that Passion is the only thing necessary. Because to be successful you must also have a good website, good marketing, widespread advertising, company support, effective keywords, and etc. Those things are often learned from the company you join - but sidestep Passion and you reduce your chances for success dramatically.
It therefore follows that, if you have no Passion for the company and the products and services provided by that company, again, you won't attempt to do the work you are being taught.
Internet marketing work is typically not all that difficult or time consuming but it does take motivation caused by Passion to get you off and running with a sustained effort so that you won't stumble.
You have a great resource in the Internet search engines to search about the Internet Marketing industry for business opportunities, USE IT!
Your research should uncover a company that you like and have confidence in. It should be solid, founded on great principles, and easy to understand with great products and services that are sell-able for which you can have Passion. If you don't find it move on,You can find the right opportunity containing the attributes identified above.
Comments like, well, that one sounds good and the compensation plan is excellent so I guess I'll start that business - does not sound like a decision based on anything near Passion. And remember when you hear that an Internet "guru" does that, don't be tempted, because as I said earlier they are experienced and can sell just about anything, without being Passionate about the company products and services.
Note: By the way it's your goal to get to the point where you can sell about anything online. That end skill and goal is a worthy one indeed.
Remember, there are other steps you must make before you step into Internet Marketing but if you don't first find the right company products and services to be passionate about, all of those other steps may just cause you a lot of frustration instead of bringing you great success.

3. The product should be able to stand alone, and be worth what you pay for it regardless of if there's a business opportunity attached. You won't have to convince someone of it's value also. The product should be great enough that you recognize that all of the benefits from purchasing and owning the product will be well worth it's price. If you don't feel a connection to the product and it seems like simply a "means to end," you may not wish to engage in the sale of that particular product.
4. The company must have back end products to encourage "repeat customers." This helps to create more residual income. It's easier for a current customer to be a repeat customer than to keep procuring new customers for every purchase from you. Having back-end products such as additional or upgraded memberships provides a means whereby you can be paid again and again.
5. The company must pay strong up front commissions as well as generous residual commissions. It's encouraging and motivating to receive your first commissions and they be of substantial value. Sure, receiving small commissions is nice too, but having a pay plan or payment system in place that allows and perpetuates considerable upfront commissions, that gives you the fuel and additional resources to use to re-invest in your business. In other words, up front commissions help you start fast and residual income allows you to eventually retire.
6. The company must have stable ownership with a track record of success. You definitely want to be in business that shows that it has staying power and puts your best interests at heart. There have been numerous companies that have used the vehicle of a "business" to simply siphon your hard earned money into an account that you have yet to reap any benefits from. That company then becomes obsolete, or changes it's name and you're left out in the cold. So, it would be of your best interest to only consider a company with a product that has rock-solid ownership that you can trust and put your faith in.
